Last weekend I made the trip down to Nowra again for what has now become an annual event, T10. What started off two days of an informal competition on the crags in and around Nowra is now a one day event and the time was held on the crags of the Northside. The idea behind the event, organised by Rob and Carlie LeBretton (maintainers of the Nowra Rocks Blog) is have a day of fun climbing and meet up with folks who you might otherwise miss during the year. All the classics had some action at South Central, PC, Rosies and Bartondale – 10 routes to be completed over the course of the day meaning that there was plenty of sending going on up to 29. Rob had even opened up a new project to prospective suitors but the difficult crux moves proved too much for the required quick ascent. The mens title this year was taken by a super motivated Any Richardson just pipping Matt Adams into second place. Lauren Chandler took home the womens title. The day was finished off fittingly with a BBQ and plenty of beer.
The weathers getting way too hot now so its up to the mountains from now on. Roll on next year!
