Boronia is one of those crags that is a real leveler. No matter how well you think your going its always good to come here and test yourself against one of its classics – which exist at pretty much every grade from 24 up. Make no mistake, this is no beginners crag. With only a couple of routes sub 20 the best on offer start at a stiff 23 and to make the most of it you’ll want to be climbing 29/30. The routes here on the main crag are without exception steep – either steep with a couple of hard moves or steep with alot of hard moves, being fit here definitely pays dividends.
The weathers been consistently hot and humid for several weeks now so the chance of a cool day at the crag was not to be passed up. OK – so it got a little misty and some of the holds were a bit damp. Still a great day out and as usual left feeling thoroughly beaten with plenty of work still do do!
